No racing in the final day due to light winds, which is hard to believe for windy Weymouth. John and I raced consistantly this week and just didn't break into the medal positions. It was tough but fun racing and we gave it our all. The leaders were just a bit sharper most of the time.
So now we pack up and head to London for the closing ceremonies, Sept 9. Coldplay is performing! My family and I will then head to France for 10 days before going back to Victoria.
Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes and support. It has been a fun and fulfilling journey!

Today was a solid day for us with a 4th and 3rd place finish. Did not not start as well as we'd like on both races but managed to recover throughout the races. USA passed us on the last leg of the first race to place 3rd in Race 1, and we passed Italy downwind for our 3rd place in Race 2. Looking forward to another day of racing tomorrow!
